The purpose

I grew up with my dad constantly photographing our family - he still brings his camera to every event and trip to this day. Now, as I flip through countless albums, they awaken my childhood memories. I can almost hear the voices of those who are no longer with us, smell the familiar scent of our old holiday home, feel the warmth of my mother’s embrace, the texture of my grandmother’s sofa, and even taste the endless ice creams devoured on hot summer afternoons.

This is the magic of photography - it has the power to take us back to life’s most precious moments, to make sure we never forget how we felt on a particular day, to transport us through time and let us relive it all over again. But in my childhood albums, there’s one thing missing - my dad, the one behind the camera.

That’s why I chose to dedicate myself to Documentary Family Photography - to preserve the memories of families who trust me with their most authentic and genuine moments. My goal is to capture their essence, their beautiful chaos, their evolving stories. I want to document their children growing up, stage by stage, so that one day, just like me, they can look back and remember.

My Approach

With a sensitive and discreet eye, I believe that the more time I spend with a family, the more natural and meaningful the moments I capture become. It’s an investment with an immeasurable return - the chance to preserve fleeting expressions and details that often go unnoticed in the rush of everyday life.

It’s about discovering the beauty in the simplest family routines, realizing how much and how fast your children grow each year, and embracing every little change along the way. Documentary family photography allows me to capture it all - the giggles, the tantrums, the hugs, the genuine connections between each family member (even the your beloved pets!!).
